The South Loop Historical Society is currently engaged in acquiring research materials for student research projects. We intend to begin assembling interviews of participants in the 1968 Democratic Convention demonstrations and African-Americans that arrived in the South Loop during the Great Migration. Audio from these oral history collections will soon be made available on this Web site.
